Happy Saturday everybody, and my apologies for such a late email. In honor of Thanksgiving, I’ve decided that I won’t be doing a regular newsletter today and will instead keep this short and sweet 🙂
If you’re not in the US, I should probably explain a little bit about what Thanksgiving is. Every 4th Thursday of November, we Americans take a holiday dedicated to giving thanks to what we are grateful for. We also eat a ton of food. Because America.
It’s one of my favorite holidays because of the spirit of the idea. In general, it’s a fairly low-key holiday, but I think it’s quite important. Living in the wealthiest nation in the world, it’s easy to take things for granted. So many things that poorer countries don’t have much of, we in the US are privileged to have an abundance of.
Throughout the year, I constantly try to remind myself that I’m the definition of privilege. I’m a white male that was born into a nuclear family in the United States of America. I of course still have my own issues with things like mental health, but it’s fairly trivial compared to what others have to go through. Heck, I’m 20 years old and still living with my parents (despite their protest 😅).
So, why do I bring all this up?
I wanted to take this week to say…
Thank You
I am immensely thankful to everyone who has subscribed to CryptoCurious and supported me over these past couple months. Writing is one of my primary creative outlets and I now have an audience to talk about things I genuinely care about with some of the coolest people in the world. Granted, I’m biased, but still. Y’all are freaking awesome.
I don’t know if I have the words to say how truly thankful I am. And I’m not bullsh*tting either. I’m very serious when I say these things. I love all of you and can’t wait to continue this journey with you.
I can’t wait for next week when I’ll be talking about Metamask and how to set it up!
